I painted this after a moment of emotional conflict, and it became a channel for healing. A woman gives birth to a soul, her gaze fierce and vulnerable. Behind her, an orangutan rests in quiet strength, bringing forest medicine: compassion, presence, grounded support. It holds the dance between anger and care, feminine and masculine, and the way healing tends to arrive in small, unexpected ways. It holds that honesty and softness.
